YES is open Monday to Friday 9.30am-6.00pm for information, advice and support.

YES also runs a number of projects and events during the evenings and weekends.

It is our mission to offer free confidential, non-judgemental information, advice and support to young people in a welcoming and informal atmosphere.

YES aims to empower young people and treat them with respect based on their individual culture and background.

YES believes in recognising each young person as an individual, ensuring that each one is equally valued, irrespective of background, colour, marital status, religious belief, gender or sexual orientation, ethnicity, ability or disability.

YES believes in young people taking a participative and where appropriate, a leadership role in decision-making.

YES offers opportunities for intergenerational projects locally, promoting harmony and wellbeing.

YES also runs a number of projects including music workshops, jam nights, creative sessions, media club, Legit+Scarper, craft groups and Young Volunteers who organise community events and raise the profile of young people in our community. YES supports young people to set up their own groups and pursue their own interests. YES also develops intergenerational projects to improve understanding between people of different ages.

YES is now based at The Edge in Bolton Street. Here we have a Cafe open five days a week - between 10am and 5pm. Come in and have a look and try some of the excellent food we serve or just chill and relax with a nice cup of coffee! We also have a separate lounging area and a large “room upstairs” with a kitchen for group work and activities.
